GOD cant move you, if your STUCK on standing STILL!

Wake up, shower, get dressed, dodge traffic, clock in, take lunch, clock in, clock out, dodge traffic, make dinner,shower,lay down,wake up shower..... 

This is the lifestyle of more than 90 billion working class citizens in America. But almost all 90 billion of these people never imagined that there lives would end up stuck behind a desk, drinking coffee every hour. When we were young, our teachers would ask us what we wanted to be when we grew up. My answer was always to be "A  star". People would laugh because they didn't believe in my dreams as much as I did even if they seemed far fetched. I never felt that categorizing myself into a mediocre career would have been the ultimate fulfilment that GOD had for my life. Growing up, those same people who were big dreamers ended up limiting themselves because they didn't have enough confidence to step outside of the box. Sometimes you gotta know how to run away from the box! GOD cant move you if your stuck on standing STILL! You have to learn to just follow your gut and have faith that the victory is already there.  Stop dreaming about the "Shoulda, Coulda,Wouldas" and start acting on the "Here, the now and the today's"! Un -plant your feet and start walking along the river of JORDAN, because standing still will only get you a paycheck and a headache. Be blessed and remember that glue is made to permanently hold things in  place, not to keep you in your mediocre space!

On August 6, 2010 I got a call that would change the way I viewed favor ever again. My sorority sister called and informed me that she had an opportunity that I would be interested in. Within 20 minutes, I received a call from an Executive Producer for The Judge Karen Court Show. He asked me if I was interested in a position as a Production Assistant. Moments later, he told me that I would be making an awesome salary. My mouth dropped! Not only did I finally get an opportunity that was financially suitable for how I wanted to live, but I was actually doing something in the field I got my degree in.  Finally! A year after graduating from college, turning down a great position, being the victim of a mentally draining relationship, and not knowing what I wanted to do with my life, GOD fulfilled his promise of providing for me. This entire journey taught me that this life is all about timing! The very place you are is the very place you are supposed to be. I moved to Los Angeles with a dream and a “watch”, knowing that in time my clock would strike in success. I learned how to stop “pushing   time” back  with excuses and false promises. I stopped “meeting deadlines” on life, and decided to let the world tic, and my vision toc. No longer would I get “alarmed” just because something didn’t happen the way I wanted it.  You have to remember that the story is already written and “in time” everything you pray for will come to pass. GOD IS GREAT, and not just because we were taught to know that he is, but because he will give you ALL the desires of your heart if you just believe. Remember the timetable of life drive+GODxfaith= SUCCESS!! Do you know what “time” it is?

The last few days during my trip in Jamaica, a pastor came to our family’s house to have worship service. He was a prophetic preacher who had  a message to share with my family, including me. After the sermon was given, he began to pray over us. in the middle of his prayer, he walked over to me and gave a prophetic healing. He told me that i was going to write a book and have it published. He said that I would be very successful in my future endeavors and that God favored me. He knew that I had been hurt and was in the process of healing, but then mentioned that i was going to be married young to someone who was madly in love with me. I was drawn to tears as he explained that I would be a spokesperson and an ambassador that would require me to travel across the country. It was meant for that Pastor to come to the house and speak to me that day. As believers, sometimes we need an affirmation that the best is yet to come. I knew the best had just begun in my life for the things I was told about my destiny. With prayer and a strong belief in your success, the next phases of your life will be transformed as well as there is a prophetic healing over your life!

I  moved to Los Angeles California on January 11th,2010. That was the scariest day of my life. I was at a place where i decided that whatever I wanted in this life, I was going to get it by any means neccessary. I got on the plane with a suitcase, a carry on, $200 dollars, and my bible. I knew that as long as i had faith the size of a mustard seed, God would order the rest of my steps for the remainder of my journey.  I didnt actually have a plan of action for my relocation,but i knew in my spirit that In the land of dreams was where i needed to be. In life, sometimes you just have to follow your good spirit. i pledge my life to the scripture, “walk by faith, and nt by sight”, as it is the testimony of my destiny.  So many times, we dream big, but are afraid to turn those dreams into reality. I created my reality, but whats yours? Whats your wildest dream in this life, and how do you plan to “walk through it” using your faith in order to seek your purpose on this earth?   All it takes is one step, and your halfway there...GOD will do the rest.  Be Blessed and remember that in order to reach paradise, you must first sacrifice.....

When I arrived to Los Angeles, I had no job, no stable home, no car, and not much clothes. Everyone told me not to move to Hollywood without a job ,but It was GOD who gave me the tenacity to cross the river of jordan and be on my way. Everyday for 5 days i would get up early in the morning at about 9am and travel to every retail store i could think of. I had no map, just an expired bus pass that I flashed to the bus driver praying that they wouldnt notice the old date. The first place i went to was hollywood. it was beautiful... Bright lights,thousands of people and entertainment that streched for blocks on in. My mother printed out 30 resumes for me to hand out. At about 15 resumes, and “no we’re not hirings”, I began to lose my focus. That was the first time in a long time where i felt like giving up. But I knew that when it seemed as if i was coming to the end of my road, God was creating a new route for my journey to continue. In church I learned that the tighter a situation may seem, the bigger the breakthrough will be. This was just confirmation that Los Angeles was where i would find a newfound success. On the 6th day i got hired as a supervior at a candy store in Universal Studios. That next day, I was hired part time at DSW Shoe warehouse on Hollywood Blvd. The irony in this story is that GOD only promises us victory in the midst of our circumstances. When things don’t seem quite convenient in your life, thats when you know your even closer to your dreams. I didnt stop thanking God just because I was unsuccessful on my job quest, I continued to thank him for just being my healer and a provider even in terms when I was undeserving of his gifts. Only then did the bountiful blessings begin to flow, and I was assured that with a strong prayer life, EVERYTHING would be alright!
